Here is me posing with a rickshaw. These things are awesome
My dad arrived. We're now letting him ride in the front seat so he can experience the Mumbai traffic / craziness first hand
Nice, I wonder if whey protein powder is cheaper here...
Here is a picture of one of the slums. It's amazin how the difference in wealth is so immediate. Right next door to luxury hotels are slums like these
Pooja is famous in these parts... :)
Yes, that is a goat in a rickshaw. Awesome!
This is the Oberoi hotel, where the terrorist attacks happened less than a week ago in Mumbai
Here is the view of where one of the terrorist attacks took place from Pooja's Aunt's house. She said she heard the gunfire when one of the terrorists were killed. If you look closely you can see police barracades (on the far side, under the bridge)
and here is the Taj hotel in Mumbai, as you can see, we drove pretty quickly by it
Here is my attempt at being artsy and capturing a shot of the skyline of Mumbai. The car is moving, and there are people in the way though
At the airport waiting for Rushi. I like the high tech method of status updates they give the people waiting (this consists of a guy walking outside and erasing the current status and writing a new one). In the airports defense, it is because they had to move the people waiting away from the airport due to terrorist threats.
Rushi finally arrived
Now, waiting for Chad. I took a picture of the croud, since there were about 8 million people there. After I took the picture we head someone say in Hindi, why is that guy taking photos. Then I got scared and put my camera away
